Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sued for blocking two male politicians on Twitter

"The four House freshmen whom Pelosi dismisses in the Dowd column have done more to define the vision and moral center of today's Democratic party than all of the message bills pushed by the party leadership combined", Fallon wrote in a Sunday tweet.

Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont teamed up with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of NY and Oregon's Rep. Earl Blumenauer on Tuesday to unveil a new resolution that would declare climate change a national emergency.

She often replies to critics publicly on her personal Twitter account, including in July 2018 when she had some choice words for the conservative pundit John Cardillo who mischaracterized her upbringing in a viral tweet.

The "distraction" name was likely a reference to the go-to tactic for the Trump administration in the face of damning accusations, such as any of the president's multiple sexual assault allegations.

She didn't specify what the offense was, but Ms. Ocasio-Cortez's chief of staff drew attention on his Twitter account by sharing posts talking about launching primary challenges against Democrats who backed a bipartisan border spending bill. "They're four people and that's how many votes they got".

Ocasio-Cortez replied: "Not particularly".

Ocasio-Cortez fired back at Pelosi on Twitter, defending her use of social media.

Ocasio-Cortez was critical of her party for constantly being on the defensive, falling into Republican frames on a host of issues, and too often being afraid of its values. "Climate change is a national emergency, and I am proud to be introducing this resolution with my House and Senate colleagues". Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley.

Pelosi says bills under consideration include banning most family separations unless they're meant to protect the child.

"They're four people and that's how many votes they got", Pelosi said in an interview with the New York Times on Saturday.

Pelosi specifically pointed to the example of the House-passed Democratic border bill in late June, which the group opposed. Later, the House moved to approve the Senate's version of the border funding bill. In describing the sentiment among those from more centrist districts, a senior congressional aide said Pelosi emerged as a "super-hero".

Brian Fallon, a former top aide to Hillary Clinton and Sen.

Pelosi's comment quickly drew ire. Her partnership with Sanders on the climate emergency declaration offers a new rallying cry for White House hopefuls trying to mobilize voters on the party's left flank who want a stronger focus on global warming from the Democratic nominee.

"The United States has completely abdicated its responsibility and role in Latin America.we are not acting like an equal partner or neighbor in the western hemisphere", she added.
