Robert Mueller to make first public statement on Russian Federation probe

Presidential candidates calling for impeachment of the president can - and certainly does - put a degree of pressure on Pelosi.

Despite the report not accusing Trump of any misdeeds and Mueller refusing to make any additional statements supplementing it, Democratic lawmakers have vowed to continue probing US President Donald Trump about various allegations, which so far have proven to be groundless. Amid a sea of purple caps and gowns, she also leveled fresh criticism at the Trump administration for what she said was its "complete refusal to condemn a foreign power who attacked our democracy" and its failure to protect the country's voting systems against future attacks.

While Mueller's statement Thursday pushed some 2020 Democratic hopefuls like Sens.

"With respect to impeachment, all options are on the table, and nothing should be ruled out", he said at a news conference after Mueller's appearance. Bernie Sanders, who have called the subject divisive and questioned the way it could benefit the Party.

"It's not politics. There are some issues that are bigger political convenience".

On Wednesday she said she was sticking with that plan.
