In addition to being the fastest film the $1 billion, Endgame also unseated Star Wars: The Force Awakens for biggest opening day. The previous biggest global haul was held by Universal Pictures' 2017 film "The Fate of the Furious" with 443 million dollars.

Its predecessor, Avengers: Infinity War, now holds the record for largest debut weekend with $257.7 million in ticket sales in North America. According to reports, the film has surpassed a whopping $1.2 billion worldwide. It also saw North America's biggest opening weekend ever.
