Beats by Dre's Powerbeats Pro wireless earphones launches for $250

Today, Apple has officially launched Beats Powerbeats Pro truly wireless earbuds for Dollars 250 (approx INR 17,000).

There's no word on how much Amazon will charge for the new gadget, but we can probably expect something around $100 to $150. Kuo believes that the feature will "create a better integrated user experience of the iPhone and AirPods". Find out in this comparison.

However, the new earbuds are smaller and lighter in weight.

The Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds are nothing like the AirPods in terms of design.

The earbuds of both products can be used as a standalone unit. The battery within the case, meanwhile, takes the total potential listening time to around 24 hours.

Because the earbuds won't have cellular connectivity they will require a connection to a smartphone to run Alexa commands.

"Powerbeats Pro is a harmonious blend of premium sound, fit and functionality". Then, I actually listened to music through the Powerbeats Pro. Unlike the AirPods, it has earhooks and it also gets some form of sweat and water resistance.

2nd gen AirPods are only available in white.

The AirPods comparison sort of grinds to a halt when you look at the design and fit of the Powerbeats Pro.

Powerbeats Pro offers better sound quality. That's up on the 5 hours of the AirPods, which is impressive. They're still hard, white plastic, and they still come with a compact flip-top carrying case that doubles as the charger.

However, Apple's current iPhones use the standardised form of wireless charging, known as "Qi", so theoretically any device that supports this standard could be charged this way. When not in use, they can be placed in their case, where they charge. It has a Lightning connector. As Guilherme Rambo reported for 9to5Mac last week, iOS 12.2 includes hidden images of the Powerbeats Pro headphones.

The new Powerbeats Pro are expected to launch in May for $249.95.

In a nutshell, the Powerbeats Pro seems to have everything that people wished the AirPods 2 packed.
