Another Winter Storm on the way for Sunday Evening - 6"+ likely"

After measuring 8.3 inches of snow in Denver during the last weekend in February, the first weekend in March promises more snow and even colder temperatures. Temperatures begin in the 20s.

Tomorrow: Snow ends in the morning, then mostly cloudy. Long range temperature trends are calling for the return of 30s by the middle of the month.

This snow will be much harder to shovel than the powdery stuff, CNN meteorologist Chad Myers says, adding that this particular system has the potential to produce thundersnow across the Northeast.

Heavy rain will also be possible over parts of the Southeast, most notably the Tennessee Valley, then move on through the coast. This highly depends on how far north and west mixing with rain makes it into the region.

Boston Public Schools canceled all activities Saturday ahead of the storm and said it would announce if the weather impacted classes on Monday. Snow and sleet will develop by the evening., becoming steadier and heavier overnight and into Monday morning. There's actually a winter storm watch up for much of the region as well for the possibility of six inches or more of snow. It is among the snowier models for Washington. Check back for updates.

The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5-1-1. "These temperatures, along with the strength of the March sun Sunday afternoon, are likely to limit snowfall accumulations". This fog should clear up fairly quickly; however, we will be keeping cloudy skies around for most of the day with maybe a peek or two of sunshine.

As the system pulls up into Canada, it will bring down colder air. Temperatures start are near freezing during the afternoon.

The weather service said on Twitter that sub-zero wind chill values can be dangerously cold for people outside.
