It packs a 7,040mAh battery with support for fast charging via a USB type-c port.
The audio segment is very nice: Galaxy Tab S5e incorporates stereo technology with an automatic rotation that adapts to the orientation of the tablet, integrates Dolby Atmos and AKG audio optimizations for an immersive 3D sound. Featuring a Snapdragon 670 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, and a 7040mAh battery, Samsung isn't joking at all. And Samsung is bringing Bixby 2.0 to its Android tablet for the first time. We'd like the Galaxy Tab S5e at a slightly lower price point (maybe below RM1.5K?) but no news about that just yet.
The Galaxy Tab S5e features face recognition and a fingerprint scanner (built into the Power key).
Samsung has reportedly begun updating the Galaxy Note8 to a stable Android 9 Pie release in a couple of European countries including Bulgaria and Slovakia, according to a recent report from SamMobile.
The Tab S5e starts at $399 and goes on sale later this year.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is a budget-friendly device. Despite its small footprint, the Tab S5E squeezes in a 10.5in Super AMOLED screen which boasts an 83 per cent screen-to-body ratio, an improvement on the Galaxy Tab S4's 79 per cent ratio.
The tablet comes with a 13MP camera at the back, which has contrast-detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.4-inch sensor size, and 1µm pixel size. Moreover, the slim bezels and 16:10 aspect ratio aid for an impressive 81.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The most obvious way to do this, coming from a flagship tablet like the Galaxy Tab S4, is to pare down features and focus on ones that are essential to the experience. Notwithstanding, Samsung TAb A 10.1 is a relatively affordable offering with a metal chassis.
That aside, what remains to be seen is what price tag Samsung has planned to push the Samsung Galaxy S5E with. The former lets users make and receive calls and texts from the tablet (it will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE versions) while the latter is Samsung's experimental desktop version of Android.
We await more details on price and availability.
For selfies and video calls, there's a 5-megapixel camera up front while the rear gets an 8-megapixel shooter. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 also comes in Wi-Fi-only and LTE models. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2019 but the exact date is not mentioned.
