We'll have to wait and see what Apple goes with next week. The iPhone 9 or the 6.1-inch LCD variant will continue with the single rear camera at the back, though this too will have Face ID on the front and a True Depth camera.
There is also an affordable version of the new gen iPhone which will feature a 6.1-inch LCD display.
The name iPhone XS would be ridiculed by everyone, everywhere.
This year, key details regarding Apple's upcoming iPhone have leaked yet again with the release of a marketing image of a revamped iPhone X alongside a larger iPhone X model.
All three models will drop the home button and, therefore, the TouchID scanning technology. The rumors suggest that Apple has been working on an entry-level MacBook that could cost $1000, but won't come with "Air" branding.
A few hours after the announcement, 9to5Mac posted photographs of two gold iPhone models stacked on top of each other, with a larger-screened model on the bottom.
Also, the image above shows a SIM tray that would be able to hold two cards, which could explain why Apple positioned it lower on the right side of the handset than you'd expect. According to Macerkopf, Apple is going to mirror the rates of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X this year with its latest lineup. However, these are only for the base models with 64 GB storage, with the 256 GB models expected to cost $150 more, though there are rumors that there will also be 512 GB options.
According to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is going to unveil three new iPhones next week. And as usual, it seems like we know everything about them heading into it. At the time it was billed as an innovative feature created to add new depth on how people use smartphones but it never really took off so Apple may remove it from the new models this year. Both the models are likely to be called iPhone XS with one featuring an OLED display. The screen could measure about 6.1 inches. There is no information available now as to what this device will be called as.
Three years of the same general design are enough for the Apple Watch - change is in the air. The images confirmed the long standing rumour of bigger displays on the next generation Apple smartwatch. There is no word on the possible naming of the LCD iPhone.
Finally, we have also heard talks that Apple Pencil could come to the iPhone.
