Five Best Features Of The Poco F1 You Need To Know

Through an unveil event in New Delhi, India, Xiaomi has introduced its new Poco sub-brand by launching the Poco F1 flagship phone.

Heck, it's the cheapest device carrying the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, one of the fastest, most powerful processors you can get on an Android right now. Will the low low prices steal market share from other brands competing in this segment or fall flat? As the company teased, the Poco F1 will come with some top-end internals.

But in the meantime, the very existence of such a device should give hope to anyone who has been pining away for a high-end phone but can't afford the extravagant $1000 price-tags of the most expensive models. For connectivity, this phone offers options of Dual 4G+ VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 3.5mm audio jack GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C port.

Talking about the design, the Xiaomi Poco F1 has a notch on the front, but it is not like every other Android phone. There is a big chin on the bottom, however.

The rear camera setup of Pocophone F1 is 12 MP + 5 MP. It also supports face unlock and has a fingerprint reader positioned on the back. A back cover is included in the box, but most people will be able to get away with doing without a case. POCO is also offering the first party skins for the device.

The POCO F1 exhibits a top-notch Snapdragon 845 chip and a huge 4,000mAh battery as well as a 6.18-inch 1080p display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The panel is protected with a Gorilla Glass, but the company is yet to confirm the exact version.

This is by far the cheapest Snapdragon 845 smartphone in India and it comes with some fantastic set of specifications.

In order to maintain high performance, the PocoPhone F1 brings LiquidCool Technology, a liquid cooling technology that allows it to maintain good performance even under extreme conditions. One variant comes with 6GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage, the other two with 6GB RAM and 128 GB ROM, and 8GB and 256 GB internal storage. To make it even speedier, the phone uses an LPDDR4x DRAM and UFS 2.1 storage. First up, OnePlus 6 houses 16MP+20MP dual rear sensors as opposed to 12MP+5MP dual rear cameras on the Poco F1. The front 20-megapixel camera also has HDR and AI Beautify features, with an IR light that powers the Face Unlock feature. On the front side is a 20-megapixel selfie camera (again borrowed from Mi 8) which is also powered with AI for capturing enhanced selfie shots. A modified version of MIUI runs on the Poco F1.

Xiaomisub-brand Pocophone has launched their new smartphone Poco F1 in India. As mentioned above, there are stereo speakers, which are always a nice thing to have on a phone.

Xiaomi POCO F1 comes in three colour variants, namely Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Rosso Red and another special edition called the Armour Edition that is made out of Kevlar for added durability.
