LeBron James speaks out on injury scare in Game 6

Expect a more focused and energized LeBron to come out the gate with his team down 3-2 and in an elimination position.

LeBron James did it all for the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6, including making consecutive 3-pointers against the Boston Celtics to ice the game.

Cavaliers: this was the seventh 40-point game for James this postseason.

Cleveland's night seemed to take a turn for the worse early in the game. "You just move on, and you get ready for the next one and you play it as well as you can, and I think one of the strengths of this team has been moving on". "It's something that you wish you had when you're done playing, but more than that, it's just basketball for me". I know he'll be great tomorrow, and then after that we'll see.

Pierce believes Tatum is just giving us a glimpse into his potential with this strong postseason.

Those watching on Twitter couldn't help but fawn over James' greatness. That pre-season script has gone through several edits over the last seven months, with Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward both sidelined for Boston and Isaiah Thomas long gone from Cleveland, but here they are.

The key, though, was James.

"Best player in the game", Celtics coach Brad Stevens said of James.

The Celtics' All-Star forward Al Horford was also unusually quiet with just six points while guard Terry Rozier had 28 and Jaylen Brown 27 points.

LeBron James was in a good mood after turning in a world-class performance in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

After that loss, James said, "We wouldn't want to be in this situation, but we never get too high or too low in a series".

Reserves Marcus Morris and Marcus Smart scored 10 points each. "I felt some pain throughout my entire right side of my ankle into my leg".

LeBron James doesn't offer praise just to be nice to another player on another team.

It wasn't quite the equal of his iconic 45-point, 15-rebound performance in Game 6 of the 2012 East Finals at the Garden that effectively ended the New Big Three era.

"That guy amazes me every night", Hill said.

Stevens was asked if Semi Ojeleye might get minutes.

"Our team is built on me being out on the floor to make plays not only for myself but for others".

James soon extinguished all hope, drilling back-to-back 3s near the 2-minute mark to put the final flourishes on his latest masterpiece.

Bench help: With Kevin Love in the locker room being evaluated for a concussion, the Cavs trailed 25-20 after the first quarter. All of which means, as the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors square off tonight for Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, that the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals is going to a decisive Game 7 on Sunday in the MA city. "He was up for the challenge".
