National Basketball Association mock draft has Wolves taking skilled shooter

Boston's fortune and embarrassment of riches has been off the charts lately, but there's a chance the rich can get even richer on Tuesday night. Still, there remain plenty of unused talking points from last week, so let's jump right in. He died in 2015 at 50.Ron Harper was the eighth overall selection in the draft, and he went on to have a long, steady National Basketball Association career.1989: The Mavs selected the next Karl Malone, Louisiana Tech forward Randy White with the eighth pick. He returned to the Mavs for the 1994-'95 season, but was out of the league after that year for the same offenses. "I'm really happy for Gilly". If Cleveland lands at either No. 8 or No. 9, it might have to make the decision between Sexton and Young. Michigan State's Miles Bridges also could be in that discussion.

So they won't be at the combine, nor will the likely top two picks in the June 21 draft - Arizona's Deandre Ayton, and Slovenia's Luka Doncic.

Bagley will have no issues fitting in himself, but Jackson Jr., to me, could be really, really special. Thanks to general manager Danny Ainge's wheeling and dealing, Boston became flush with draft picks. Born and raised in Pennsylvania before three accomplished seasons at Villanova, Bridges would be a ideal fit for the 76ers' budding core.

The Bulls have made so many bad decisions over the last several years, with the most freaky decision being the one to acquire past-their-prime players like Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo before the 2016-2017 season to make a run... at mediocrity (and sure enough they finished exactly.500). Again, though, this early in the process, any information that comes out should be taken with a grain of salt. "I'm very superstitious about Celtics games, but it's very hard to affect the ping pong balls, so we'll see what happens". The current draft prospects are too young to even know what it was like to follow a good Kings team. At six-foot-eight, Doncic is a do-it-all wing presence who would make a nice fit on any lottery team.

Which, of course, describes the duality of the Celtics' focus the last few years.

Regardless of whom they select here, the Cavs get a promising star in this draft. That's more than okay in my book because it's filling a big need that we have at C and SF. Prior to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics Eastern Conference Finals game, the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery will take place.

The Sixers are also considering trading both picks to acquire a player from another team or move up in the draft. Plus, they could sell more awesome Hornets starter jackets. The Grizzlies, Mavericks, and Hawks all have at least a 13 percent chance of taking home the No. 1 spot on Tuesday as well. If everything works out and they can get a top-three pick, then that initial level of excitement will be blown out the building.

There is, however, a third option. The aggressive point guard has been compared to Irving by Alabama head coach Avery Johnson and would have the potential to form another title-winning tandem with James. Perry talked about what they look for in a player. Instead, they had a seven-game winning streak in December to kill those chances.

Who are these guys anyway?
