"What's up London?" OnePlus is launching not one but two new products today, he says. That's a pretty standard feature of Bluetooth earphones, but it's still helpful to know that you won't have to do not forget to shut off the earphones when you need to quickly take them out of your ears to start a conversation with someone or listen to your surroundings. Suggesting that the OnePlus 6 only offers the processing power that's necessary, and no more, well, that's underselling it somewhat. Unlike some other phones on the market, there are still bezels - but they've been seriously slimmed down. Therefore, the phone is expected to come in multiple colour options, too. It is also reported to feature iPhone X-inspired gesture-based on-screen navigation. You can, however, capture up to 4K resolution video at 30fps with OIS enabled, so that's nice. OnePlus has also changed the arrangement of the dual camera on the back, because it's now in the middle of the back and in line with the fingerprint sensor. Face Unlock isn't as secure as Apple's Face ID, unfortunately, and it's meant purely for convenience over security. The Karbonn bumper case may be priced at Rs. 1,990.
You may not have known this, but OnePlus headphones have been available for some time.
What's more important, however, is the fact that OnePlus has thrown in fast Dash charging. Other variants might include 6GB RAM, 64GB storage or 128GB storage. The device will be loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo but you can expect Android P before the end of 2018.
The cameras on the OnePlus 6 are mostly the same as the 5T but the 16-megapixel main sensor now is 19% larger coupled with a f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation.
According to OnePlus, the camera uses artificial intelligence to create a better Portrait Mode - though we'll have to wait and see just how good it really is.
Update: "With OnePlus 6, we focussed on speed". The left and right earbuds are connected via a wire.
As far as audio quality goes, OnePlus says the Bullets support AptX and feature a so-called Energy Tube that reportedly aims to decrease distortion and provide a better auditory experience. OnePlus claims that they have used the lightest aluminum casings to make the Bullets Wireless Earphones. Bullets Wireless are the first wireless, Bluetooth-enabled earphones from OnePlus, and they'll be available in the coming weeks.
The Bullets Wireless are due out at some point next month.
It's thought the OnePlus 6 will feature a giant edge-to-edge display that stretches across the entire phone. The limited-edition Silk White with 128 GB of storage will be available for purchase on June 5th.
However, OnePlus is still not a household name, and so still feels to some like a leap of faith rather than a smart choice when upgrading. With Advanced HDR, OnePlus' improved High Dynamic Range algorithm, the OnePlus 6 brings out shadows and enhances lighting in photos.
