Zidane says changes coming at Real Madrid

Mohamed Salah has reassured Liverpool fans his stunning first season is "just the beginning" of his time at the club despite speculation over interest from Real Madrid.

Unbeaten at home in the league this season, Liverpool are odds-on to achieve their goal.

The Egypt worldwide, who is also the Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year, has not added to his 43 goals this season in his last three outings.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is now recovering from knee surgery, won Liverpool's Goal of the Season award, as voted by fans, for his thunderbolt strike against Manchester City in the Champions League at Anfield.

Salah made simply six League begins and 7 substitute appearances for Chelsea, scoring twice.

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to mastermind victories in both of those contests, with Salah paying tribute to a manager who has brought out the best in him and an exciting Liverpool side.

"It's hard to compare one season directly with another", Klopp said by way of explanation.

Steven Gerrard believes Liverpool have every chance of toppling Real Madrid in the Champions League final and shouldn't be labelled as underdogs for the Kiev showdown later this month.

For them it is a nice time but for us it is time to work.

"They need a point from the game and I'm expecting a very strong side - the Champions League final is in a few weeks and they still need a result", said Hughton, whose team lost 3-1 at champions Manchester City in midweek.

"Good, of course. [He is] an important option for us", Klopp added on Lallana.

"If Man City are that good next season then I don't see too much difference because I don't see too much wrong with what Liverpool have done".

Refusing to take the blame for Chelsea's woes, Conte said: "We're struggling to take a place in the Champions League".

Milner has been absolutely instrumental in the competition, registering the most assists in a single campaign out of any other player since its inception.

"It's exciting. We will try everything to make sure that next year we play in the Champions League again".
