Ronaldo injury a worry for Real

His Barcelona team defeated Ronaldo's Madrid in four of their six league meetings, with only one victory going Ronaldo's way. They have three more games to play before the end of the campaign and Zidane believes they could go the entire campaign undefeated.

Gareth Bale stepped up in his absence and cancelled out Lionel Messi's wonderstrike, but given the proximity of his injury to the final the hope was he would miss out at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has praised the balance in Liverpool's squad ahead of the Champions League final later this month.

"I think all of them, Cristiano, Isco, Carvalhal [will be fit]", Zidane told a news conference ahead of Madrid's trip to face Sevilla on Wednesday. "He is a bit anxious, right now the ankle is a bit swollen, but he said it is not so bad".

The Selecao talisman scored 28 goals and assisted a further 19 strikes in 30 games for PSG this season before picking up an injury that has kept him sidelined since March.

Ernesto Valverde's men are now three matches away from becoming the first ever team to finish a 38-match La Liga season unbeaten. "I think we are the only unbeaten team in Europe in the big leagues and that is something that pushes us".

That opinion is not held by the club's Honorary President Paco Gento however, who has revealed that he believes the game will be an absolute breeze for Madrid.

"It's incredible that he's already walking after 48 hours", Zidane continued. Let's see what he shows us on that particular day. In my view Neymar is indeed a fine player but still some way off the level of both the Argentine and Cristiano Ronaldo.

"No one can know that I'm back in Rio", was the claim uttered by the Madrid representative to countless people in March fully aware that, as the locals say "Río es un pueblo" (Rio is a small town) and people talk.

He played on for 31 minutes until the interval but did not emerge for the second half. "We will have him ready (to play)". I saw the game against Real Sociedad and they took them to the limit.
