Men's tennis headed to Texas for first round of NCAAs

The five teams with the lowest score, as well as the lowest-scoring individual not on a qualifying team, will advance to the NCAA Championship in Stillwater, Okla., beginning May 25.
"It is always exciting with the NCAA Selection Show", A&M coach Mark Weaver said. "Last year, we were at a fall event with them where we did a scrimmage-type atmosphere as far as how you play it". We had a tough match with them early in the season at their place. "We've been practicing really well, so I feel confident about us returning to form at the right time".
"We are definitely looking forward to playing in this Regional", Georgia coach Chris Haack said.
"We'll play anybody, anytime, anywhere". Only time will tell if such energy will carry the Illini to an NCAA Championship - which would be a first in the history of the program. "They are plenty good".

The contest between the Ospreys and the Seminoles will begin at 2 p.m.

The Raleigh Regional will play host to eight teams listed among the nation's top 50 of the Golfstat rankings, including (in order of seed) California (9), Texas (16), Arizona State (21), Duke (28), NC State (37), Liberty (40), Missouri (46), Santa Clara (51), Campbell (56), Middle Tennessee State (70), Augusta (113), Davidson (204) and Iona (268).
