'Avengers: Infinity War' ambitious but underwhelming

If the film had killed off some of the characters whose trilogies have already ended - say Thor or Captain America, since Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans have reached the final film mandated by their original contracts - I would have believed it, and grieved the loss of their good humor and massive biceps appropriately. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. Even diehards can agree that one of Marvel's shortcomings is in the villain department.
However, this isn't just an ambitious crossover film to delight fans. (Do some of you even know what a pager is?) Is this just a cute nod to one of Avengers director Joss Whedon's most famous Buffy the Vampire Slayer lines?
After almost a decade, Marvelverse's, "Avengers: Infinity War" is out. Avengers: Infinity War is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
At the end of the film, Thanos has acquired all six Infinity Stones he needs to wipe out half of humanity from existence and bring "balance" to the universe.
Avengers: Infinity War is a mega film by Marvel Cinematic Universe, made with a budget of more than $300 million is expected to collect more than $230 crores in its first week from India itself. Lesson: Don't mess with the Infinity Stones. To see if "we" could become something more.
"I'm less exhausted and excited 'cos I don't know what happens and you know, a little jealous..." They make sure each character has a moment to shine, and they know how to shoot good-looking, exciting action.
The film has scored an all-time number one opening in countries like South Korea, Brazil, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hongkong, Vietnam, Central America, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, UAE. Directors Russo Brothers (Anthony and Joe) have done a near ideal job of delivering one of the best works of the Marvelverse. And how did they go about this arduous task of juggling 30 characters with their numerous, distinct storylines? Until Black Panther, and now Infinity War, aside from Loki, Killmonger, maybe Red Skull they've been generic "destroy the world" villains.
Marvel has maintained its distinct-from-DC voice by resorting to humour. The one-liners are brilliant and crisp, and add the ideal touch of humour to dark situations. Having said that there are quite a few plot points in the film that left many baffled and confused.
One of their biggest challenges was how to make Waititi's rather different Thor work in Infinity War.
Which is exactly where the post-credits scene picks up.
Avengers: Infinity War is full of entertaining little parts that somehow do not make a compelling whole.
The regional language versions of the film have contributed to 25 percent of the overall advance ticket sales with its Hindi version leading the way.
