Nokia's latest smartphones are coming to Malaysia next week

Should competition worry about the latest from Nokia? The new Nokia 1, Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus are priced at Rs. 5,499, Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 25,999 respectively, of which Nokia 1 is already on sale.

Finnish technology major HMD Global Oy is all geared up to launch the company's new feature-rich Nokia 7 Plus and possibly a couple of more smartphones in India later today.

Question: How is the display of the Nokia 8 Sirocco? We will do a detailed review of the device in the coming week to find out how the device performs in various light situations. Also, all the three smartphones are machined out of series 6000 Aluminium.

The triple will be placed by developers on the back of the device. However, on the downside, the back is prone to smudges.

Nokia 7 Plus has a 6-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD Display, having an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display quality looked crisp and felt responsive to the touch. A more in-depth review of the phone will tell us whether or not that guarantee actually holds true. The device is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. This latest chipset is supported by 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.

- At Rs 49,999 the Nokia 8 Sirocco does not come cheap and I expect only die-hard fans and those who want the most good-looking Nokia phone to really go for this one. However, last year, Google partnered Xiaomi to launch Mi A1 that was powered by Android One. The combination of Xenon and LED flash will ensure that you get a flashlight as well as a powerful camera flash.

Nokia 8 Sirocco has premium features like enhanced Dual-Sight, ZEISS optics and tuned acoustics with Nokia spatial audio. The setup is coupled with a dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. There's a primary 12MP sensor and a 13MP telephoto lens, which is used to make the Boken effect happen. For selfies, this phone has an 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and 84 degreee wide-angle lens. The new addition to imaging however is the "Bothie mode' which allows the users to use both the rear and front camera simultaneously to create a bothie". The leak also reveals a picture labeled "camera revolution" of the upcoming Nokia 9 flagship by HMD. However, a lot of them were priced in a lower segment. The selfie camera does a decent job as well. All Nokia 7 plus consumers will also be eligible for a complimentary 12-month Accidental Damage Insurance by Servify on opening the Kotak 811 savings account and activating it.

The Nokia 7 Plus is backed up by 3800mAh battery with fast charging. Connectivity options in the phone include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, Global Positioning System and a USB Type-C port.

The 3.5mm headphone is, of course, welcomed, since Nokia's flagship model, the Nokia 8 Sirocco, chose to get rid of the feature altogether. The telephone will run Android 8.0 Oreo with customary security updates guaranteed. If the processor and the battery performance prove to be impressive in our review then it might just be one of the best mid-rangers out there.
