All of these smartphones bear AI capabilities and are built on Android One platform. Out of the box, you will get Stock Android Oreo Operating System with assured periodical updates under Android One program.

On the specifications front, the Nokia 6 (2018) will be equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display, Snapdragon 630 processor, Adreno 508 graphics, 3000mAh battery pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo. The Nokia 8 Sirocco Android One smartphone is priced at Euro 749 and will be available starting April. The 41MP sensor would be a wide-angle lens with variable apertures of f/2.4 and f/1.5, similar to Samsung's Galaxy S9's dual apertures. It also comes with improved grip given by the dual diamond-polished stainless-steel frame.

The Sirocco's screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is really quite tough.

The Sirocco has a decent 3,260 mAh battery, which supports Qi Wireless charging, thanks to its glass body. The Nokia 7 Plus is also an Android One smartphone, and the design looks similar to the Nokia 6. It has 3GB RAM with 32GB storage which can be extended up to 128GB with microSD card.

On the camera front, Nokia 7 Plus does quite well for itself. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (v2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Nokia 7 Plus is a surprisingly nice phone to hold.

Nokia 6 (2018) is the upgraded version of Nokia 6 which was launched past year. The smartphone will also pack a massive 3,900mAh battery that could provide a standby time of 565 hours and talk time of up to 24 hours.

The device is also proof that Nokia is finally giving in to the 18:9 display rage. We discussed that on Orbital, our weekly technology podcast, which you can subscribe to via Apple Podcasts or RSS, download the episode, or just hit the play button below.

The Nokia 6 2018 is positioned in the budget segment - with the phone going on sale for ₹16,999 - and there's no shortage of competition.

"India has 600 million feature phone consumers, many of whom want to upgrade to a smart phone". Nokia had a positive return on equity of 10.80% and a negative net margin of 6.37%. Although Shroff confirmed the company will be discontinuing Nokia 6 from the markets, he did not confirm as to when exactly will this start happening. The phone is machined out of series 6000 aluminum, and the 2018 variant features a two-tone anodized finish. These three smartphones have Face Unlock features.

Now, a little over a year later comes back HMD Global with some fangs.

New Nokia 6 will be available at a recommended best buy price of Rs. 16,999 from 6th April in Black/Copper and White/Copper colors.

Technocrat Ishan Agarwal has posted Amazon India's webpage source code on Twitter, which mentions Nokia 7 Plus will be exclusively available on its e-commerce site when it makes the official debut Wednesday. But more than that, the lineup also appears to be an attempt by HMD Global to use 2017's success as a launchpad to go bigger this year and in the process bring Nokia back to what many believe is its rightful place in the smartphone industry.

With its latest devices, HMD Global is doubling down in India.
