But of course, the real story from this match is what came afterward, with "Raw" superstar Asuka making it apparent she will face Charlotte at WrestleMania 34.
The 6-Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship featuring AJ Styles, John Cena, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, and Dolph Ziggler main evented the show and put forth nothing short of an outstanding match.
BOB KAPUR: The danger here is that the potentially butt-kicking Mania match between AJ Styles and Nakamura will get diluted by adding a third person. As much as I would like to say yes I do actually think we will see Cena win after several false finishes unless The Undertaker shows up. But after an eventful show, we pretty much know how SmackDown's Superstars will line up at WrestleMania. The winners of this PPV will now go on to have big matches at WrestleMania 34 on April 8th, 2018 in New Orleans. Nevertheless, the intrigue is set and Smackdown will get the recognition for their championship match.
After a high-octane match, Charlotte finally got the better of the leader of the Riot Squad and made her tap out.
If nothing else, I really just want to see Roode's entrance at WrestleMania (the one at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II was glorious). The "Queen" retained her Smackdown Women's title against Ruby Riott in a high-profile match. She danced her way to the ring and then pointed to the WrestleMania sign while staring down the champion.
Many had expected Asuka to be wrestling Raw women's champion Alexa Bliss, but instead two of the best in the company will now go at it at Wrestlemania.
What's next: It's apparent we're setting up for a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 34.

AJ Styles retained his WWE Championship title. Daniel Bryan sided with Mahal, while Shane McMahon thought that Orton was the rightful challenger.
Carmella and Natalya battled Becky Lynch and Naomi and Rusev sought to celebrate Rusev Day at the expense of Shinsuke Nakamura. AJ Styles flies out of nowhere and hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Owens for the pin.
Although it brought an incredible match to an abrupt end, The Bludgeon Brothers making their mark in the tag team division was one of the best things to happen during Fastlane.
