2019 iPhones May Not Feature Notch

While many early adopters of the iPhone X just had to get used to it, Apple seems to have plans in the works to possibly remedy this blight.

Recently some firms have touted pop-up selfie camera lenses, but that's far too gimmicky for Apple's tastes. "Some display industries think that Apple will either drill holes into OLED panels or use BM (Black Matrix) area within displays". Since it unveiled the iPhone X, dozens of Android OEMs have launched phones with an iPhone X-like display notch. The company has struggled with the G lineup of late; as its focus continues on the V series - launched in tandem with Apple's iPhone and Samsung Note lineups.

In reality however, Brits would probably expect to pay closer to £599-£649 for a $649 Apple iPhone, due to how worldwide pricing works. Apple is said to be already exploring ways of implementing Face ID with a true full-screen design. A report from Korea claims Apple's OLED phones arriving in 2019 will not include a notch.

With the help of Finisar and by bringing down the size of the kit to nearly micro levels Apple has definitely earned a profit for their hard work, but it seems the notch might not be here to stay for long.

Therefore, it shows that Apple's temporary solution to bump up the performance on older iPhones is working in the real world, even without the toggle switch for the performance throttling feature.

On the contrary, there have been many companies that are applying notch design to their Smartphones.

Apple has not yet announced the iPhone X Plus, so tech enthusiasts should take these rumors with a grain of salt. What's interesting is that the iPhone X has been on sale for less than two months during the quarter. "Romeo" throws 30,000 near-infrared beams on the face and "Juliet" collects these beams based on an algorithm that Apple developed. Sources also said that all three will have smaller bezels and will have a "smaller notch design", according to the Korean website ET News.

Shortly after the iPhone X made its debut in 2017, many hardcore Android fans began mercilessly chastising the phone. The LCD variant would feature 3GB RAM while the OLED models would come with a higher 4GB RAM. It is also pegged to launch a low-cost flagship iPhone featuring a 6.04-inch LCD display.

Despite its revolutionary design, the iPhone X sales have failed to meet Wall Street expectations. The average smartphone user can easily do daily tasks with ease and they are not impressed even by the iPhone X.
