Arsenal fans' group votes overwhelmingly for Wenger to go

Back-to-back defeats in the Premier League have left the Gunners trailing fourth-placed Tottenham by 12 points and Wenger has admitted they are likely to finish outside the Champions League places for a second successive season. It is also dependent on Chelsea, who would have to do Wenger's side a massive favour.

Not since March 1977 have the north Londoners managed such a dire run of results, when they in fact lost seven matches in succession, all of which came in league competition.

He recently told Sky Sports that, "It's not easy, but I have enough experience and enough desire to turn things around and I must say that, at the moment, when you need to stay in the game we are making a few mistakes at the wrong moments". The rules state that a maximum of five teams from any one country can qualify.

And Kolasinac says they should try to go without defeat for the rest of 2017-18, starting with Thursday's trip to AC Milan in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie. So [it is important] not to forget that we are good football players, but as well to fix reachable targets, be practical and pragmatic.

"Two teams to drop so many points is very hard to imagine".

According to The Times, the 68-year-old French coach has told the Arsenal coaching staff about what his plans are going forward.

Arsenal's Hector Bellerin applauds fans after the match.

"When I arrived at Arsenal, they said to me, 'Why are you outside of the box, you will never score goals?' with my position being on the left or whatever it was".

"After that, mentally as well I believe that the lack of confidence, linked with the physical aspect, made us lose some balls where they took advantage of it".

The Europa League is now a priority for Arsenal following another poor domestic campaign.

However, Redknapp added that change should take place at the end of the season.

Two of the club's recent recruits Henrik Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have both vowed to try and save Wenger from the sack.

"I think that victory through harmony can take a lot of different meanings, but for me victory through harmony comes from communication".

Naturally, they are playing different.

"When I see how certain players behave it's disgraceful, sometimes it's even a case of gross professional negligence that deserves to be punished".
