He said the party's ally - Indigenous People's Front Of Tripura - will be part of the NDA government in the state.
The BJP will become a deciding party in Nagaland, not because of the number of seats that it won but because of the situation it is in as the NPF - a single largest party has come again forth to fix the alliance and claim that their ties were never broken.
Indeed the Modi-Shah combination has been successful in terminating the CPI-M in Tripura, the last surviving bastion for the Left if Kerala is discounted considering the trends of the voters who bring alternative party in power in every election in India's southern most state.
Besides tapping into the youth, the BJP made aggressive best efforts to break the CPI (M)'s stranglehold in 20 seats reserved for tribals, which possibly turned the ride in its favour.

Though, BJP had not declared any chief ministerial candidate, it is believed that Tripura BJP president Biplab Deb would succeed chief minister Manik Sarkar. BJP is set to end CPM's 25-year rule in Tripura and rise to power with an overwhelming mandate. The BJP government will begin to collapse after six to months what I reckon. BJP is poised to form a government in Nagaland too.
The BJP has smashed the Left citadel in Tripura and conquered wide swathes of the Northeast that was once considered a frontier forever out of its reach.
So the first battle that BJP had to win to get a foothold in the North East was against itself.
