Threat to West Aurora High School deemed not credible

Deputies remained on scene as a precaution until the end of the school day. No one was hurt.
The dispute was unrelated to a threat of violence found graffitied in a bathroom stall at the high school Wednesday, police and school administration said.
Woodburn and Gervais police started investigating the case and increased security at both schools. Now police are trying to figure out who made that threat to Whitmer Senior High School. We have corrected the error.
Bliemeister commented on how many students "did the right thing" by reporting the threat to LNE officials, and reminds any students or teachers to report any threats made. Even though the threat against Central turned out to be unfounded, Stephens is glad it was reported.

In the Kansas City, Kansas School District, officials said someone made a threat about shooting up a school, mentioning two different high schools.

Davidson High School acknowledged the threat on Facebook Thursday evening, but insists the threat is not credible.
The Mobile Police Department say they will continue to investigate all potential threats and ensure safety in local schools. He reportedly posted the message to see what kind of response he would get from the school and law enforcement. Threats were also reported in Van Buren Public Schools and Plymouth-Canton Educational Park.
