Kamal Haasan launches his political party; know name here

He also spoke of the latent anger among the people of the state with the politics, and said his new party would offer the solution to the corruption that he said had taken over Tamil Nadu's politics. "The name of the party is Makkal Needhi Maiyam". He also unveiled his party's flag that has six hands firmly holding each other in a circle, with a star at the centre.
The actor then told his fans and the assembled people that this was not a one-day celebration and they will have a lot of responsibilities from now on.
DMK's ally Congress was equally scathing while commenting against the political entry of Haasan.
The launch happened in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Instead he today met Seeman, chief-coordinator of the pro-Tamil Naam Tamilar Katchi, adding the director-cum-actor turned politician, to the list of the leaders whom he met to seek their well-wishes.
Madurai is the favourite place for Tamil politicians to launch parties or hold huge rallies.
Ahead of his party launch, Haasan who has been meeting political leaders in the state did not meet any leaders from the ruling AIADMK.
Haasan began his political journey by visiting the house of A P J Abdul Kalam, describing the former president as his "role model".
Addressing the media at the Chennai airport on Tuesday, Kamal Haasan said, "I'll take this press meet as a token of welcome".
Haasan has starred in a film titled 'Nammavar.' "It is the name of a film".
AM: Kamal Haasan tweeted, "Greatness can come from simple beginnings. The political arena is watching how much distance a bird can fly on the strength of its wings", he had said.
He also stated that he can bring justice and rule to Tamil Nadu where a true leadership is missing in the state after Jayalalitha dead. He will also address the public at Paramakudi and Manamadurai.
