The last time Matt and Becca Hamilton faced off against Russian Federation in mixed doubles curling was at the 2017 World Championships, a match in which they were defeated 7-5.

Team USA will be led by sibling duo Matt and Becca Hamilton who could potentially rack up over 50 hours of live play, which would be the longest of any athlete in the Winter Games.
Morris and Lawes opened the day with a 10-4 win over China's Rui Wang and Dexin Ba, then routed Finland 8-2.
'Mixed doubles, you're never safe with a three-point lead, anyone can score big ends, ' Becca said.
The 2017 world championship super-g bronze medallist, Osborne-Paradis missed a gate in the middle of the course and said it was "by no means a flawless run".

John Morris and Kaitlyn Lawes were defeated 9-6 by Norway's Kristin Skaslien and Magnus Nedregotten.
Canadian coach Jeff Stoughton said he expects continued improvement. "These other players from Canada are very good and have a lot of experiences", he said.
