Aubameyang to Arsenal - Shocking Update - Fans will Hate Wenger

Mislintat has reportedly recommended Aubameyang as the player who would fit the bill at Arsenal and urged the club to make a move.

The Gabon global - last season's Bundesliga Golden Boot victor - has been identified by the Gunners as the man they want to replace Manchester United-bound Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal could have a void to fill in Arsene Wenger's team in the coming month as Sanchez edges closer to a January move to Manchester City or Manchester United in the current transfer window.

Aubemayang was left out of Dortmund's clash with Wolfsburg on the weekend after skipping a team meeting and club director Michael Zorc hinted they would sell the striker because his actions had become 'intolerable.

Dortmund has had to deal with Aubameyang's internal disciplinary issues; and not for the first time.

Mislintat who was the head scout for Dortmund for over 10 years has given the Gabon global a clean chit.

"It's clear that Arsenal are in conversations with the player (Aubameyang) and Borussia Dortmund", Balague wote for Sky Sports.

Arsenal also like Bordeaux's £45m-rated hitman Malcom but Aubameyang is Arsenal's priority and they would not sign both. Dortmund have an asking price which is around £65million and clubs in China are ready to pay and get the deal done.

Stoger has confirmed he has spoken to Aubameyang about the incident and why the club felt the need to suspend him.

While he's remained prolific this season with 13 goals in 15 appearances, there have been signs that all is not well with Aubameyang at Dortmund.

The London club expect to lose the Chilean worldwide this week - with Manchester United his likeliest destination ahead of Manchester City - as they edge closer to concluding a deal for young Brazilian forward Malcom from Bordeaux for around £40 million.
