Seal slams Oprah Winfrey over Harvey Weinstein misconduct

Singer Seal is calling out critics for suggesting he attacked Oprah Winfrey over her relationship with Harvey Weinstein, insisting he was speaking out against hypocrisy in Hollywood. "They want to reverse him".

Oprah recently made world-wide headlines after a speech she gave at the Golden Globes sparked speculation that she would run for the US Presidency in the 2020 election.

On Tuesday, Trump responded to reporters: 'Yeah, I'll beat Oprah, ' adding 'Oprah will be a lot of fun'. In recent months, though, she has said she is rethinking it.

An Oprah Winfrey candidacy won't, either.

Angela Rye, a political strategist and CNN commentator, said that regardless of whether she runs, Oprah has caused the nation to think about what truly qualifies someone to run for office.

I saw 10 minutes of the "Today" show yesterday, and the subject was Ms. Winfrey. Money reports that friends say she's "actively thinking" about it. "I'd much rather go for someone like Oprah Winfrey than a career politician". "The majority of strategists have not adjusted their polling measures to account for their inability to see a Trump victory through the projections of a Hillary Clinton win". If it disturbs them, why didn't they invite them to the Golden Globes? The poll reported that 48 percent of likely USA voters would choose Oprah over Trump. A notable 17% of independents are undecided.

If Oprah is as smart as I think she is, there's no way she'll blow up her presumably wonderful life to run for president.

"O" is a half black, half white smiley face. 35% do, and 11% are unsure.

"And if that's true, I would just like to say Oprah you will never be president", said Meyers.

By relentlessly exalting the role of individual choice in achieving - or failing to achieve - "success", Winfrey has used her platform to shield those responsible for America's decline and mask the attendant crisis in democracy.

Clearer survey results based on race are available in the NPR/Marist poll. "She just happened to be the person photographed with the pig (Weinstein) in the picture". A massive 87 percent of Black voters, however, would support Winfrey in 2020. 39% would vote for Trump, and 11% are undecided.

The PCCC poll reflects some trepidation, even from Democrats: While PCCC is known as a strong and longtime supporter of Sen. If she declares, I will back her. Either party would be happy to draft Oprah Winfrey. Her chances in the first phase would be daunting.

"This past year has shown an ugliness of racism that still exists right down in Charlottesville, in my backyard, the most ugly display of racism, of anti-semitism, a young woman murdered, and the president couldn't get it right that it was wrong", she said. It was all because of stories like Recy Taylor's.

This would prove problematic for Winfrey.

While he denied harsh feelings against Oprah, he continued to bash the entertainment business for seemingly being fake.

From the moment The Oprah Winfrey Show debuted in 1986 - and throughout the 24 consecutive seasons it held the No. 1 spot on air - Oprah has always made it a point to share her truths while uncovering the realities that others face.
