Microsoft Store to sell Razer's new Android smartphone

That's because Razer actually acquired Nextbit late a year ago for the express goal of having the Robin team build the new Razer Phone. The Razer smartphone runs at these rates and is therefore expected to run PC-like games.

The Razer Phone - the most powerful gaming smartphone yet? But, at the same time, it is built to perform flawlessly in day-to-day tasks. Razor said this ensures there is no "screen tearing" and is also another technology that has been adopted from high-end gaming laptops. Would you be willing to purchase this smartphone and use it both as a gaming as well as daily driver device or just a gaming exclusive device? Called the Razer Phone, the device created to cater to gamers is expected to draw PC gamers to a mobile device.

Just like the Nextbit phone before it, this smartphone has a fingerprint scanner under its power button. It helps render the game graphics even more smoothly than regular smartphones.

The stock software launcher for this phone is Nova Launcher Prime and is now launching with Android 7.1, although an update to Android Oreo is expected for the first quarter of 2018.

The Razer phone will feature 64GB of on-board storage, which be further expanded up to 2TB with an external memory card.

With dual rear 12 MP cameras, the Razer Phone gives photographers a versatile tool to create unbelievable images. The front camera with an 8MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture is also a standard one.

The new Razer handset has an all-metal unibody, a large 2k display, dual front firing speakers, a dual camera and 8GBs of RAM. One for each speaker! However, there is no jack for headphones. The battery also has a capacity of 4,000 mAh battery, promises to be a performance rarely equaled since Razer announces 12.5 hours of battery life for movies, with 63.5 hours for music and even 7 hours for the games. And, we aren't really sure how Razer plans to compete out with the likes of the Galaxy Note 8, OnePlus 5, LG V30; as most of the devices features minimal bezels on all sides of their display. This is the first smartphone display ever to support 120hz refresh rate. On top of that there's a built-in adaptive UltraMotion refresh technology - co-developed with Qualcomm - which synchronises the display with the GPU for maximum smoothness.

Well, the specs sheet speaks for itself: The Razer Phone has a 5.7-inch 1440p screen. They bear THX certification for delivering crystal-clear sound. The phone will be sold unlocked for GSM carriers in the US.

The Razer Phone price is $699 in the U.S. and it starts shipping on November 15.

The Razer Phone's sleek, 8-mm-thin aluminum body is a beauty to behold and to hold.
