Opposition demands probe into Jay Amit Shah's business dealings

Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi found himself under attack from the BJP in his parliamentary constituency on Tuesday, with Amit Shah slamming the Congress Vice-President for the lack of development in the region despite three generations of the Nehru-Gandhi family representing it in the Lok Sabha.
Former Gujarat chief minister Anandiben Patel has hit back at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi for his remarks that RSS and BJP do not give importance to women in their rank and file.
Watch video for more... "The BJP's slogan has changed to Amit Shah ke bête ko bachao (save Amit Shah's son) from Beti Bachao (Save the girl child)". She also accused Gandhi of cheating the farmers of Amethi, by grabbing their land through the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.
Adityanath said while a target of 24 lakh houses for the rural poor had been set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Uttar Pradesh government till 2019, and that 9.70 lakh houses had to be built in the first year but the Samajwadi Party government did nothing. Gujarat's people know the development it has seen; please look at your constituency, Rahul Baba.

Speaking on the occasion, she said the development works are taking place in Amethi at a time BJP government is in power.
"If Rahulji believes that wearing shorts in India is the sign of empowerment, as a woman I want to contradict it", Irani told reporters in Amethi, the home turf of the Gandhi family in Uttar Pradesh.
Ahead of polls in Gujarat later this year, Rahul Gandhi is touring the BJP's strongest citadels in the state where the Congress has been out of power for almost 20 years.
Bhartiya Janata Party President Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also echoed her attacks against Gandhi on this occasion.

In a strongly-worded statement, Anandiben said the Congress would face electoral debacle in the forthcoming polls in Gujarat if Gandhi does not apologise.
