Google Pixel Buds wireless headphones launch this fall for $159

Google finally took the lid off from a range of its devices, which includes smartphones, headsets and laptops. In India, the 64GB version of Pixel 2 will be priced at Rs 61,000, while 128GB variant will be available for Rs 70,000.

Google Product Executive, Aparna Chennapragada demonstrated how Google Lens works on the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL at Wednesday's launch event.

Although it adds to Google's Chromebook line-up, the Pixelbook isn't a budget laptop. Regarding design, the latter variant Google pixel 2 XL spots a revamped design, as nearly every manufacturer had attained by this year. They are Bluetooth, though, and have a bunch of smart features built-in. They are IP67 rated which makes it dust and water resistant as well.

The Google Pixel 2 will be available in three colours: Just Black, Clearly White, and Kinda Blue, while the Pixel 2 XL will come only in two colours: Just Black, and Black and White. The new phones can leverage 3-way Carrier Aggregation, 4x4 MIMO and 256 QAM.

This is Google's answer to similar smart camera features introduced by companies like Samsung. To speak with Google Assistant, you touch and hold the earbuds button.

The Pixel 2 sports a 5-inch OLED display which has a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It's a huge pain point for most Android users around the world, but not for anyone with a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL. Portrait Mode is even available for the 8MP front camera, too. The rear camera has the capability of recording 4k videos @ 30 fps.

The company today confirmed that customers who pick up the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will receive a free Google Home Mini. There is also the 6-inch Pixel 2 XL. The top part is a deep black, much like the top half of the Just Black version, while the bottom is a clean white shade. Google has the advantage of its Google Assistant, backed by its powerful search engine and a push in machine learning and computer vision.

Google also announced a new laptop, the "Pixelbook", a slim, light computer with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. It has 10ms of latency and 2000 levels of pressure sensitivity. The device will run on Android 8.0.0 Oreo out of the box. Preorders for US consumers begin today, while Google Pixel Buds will come to Singapore, U.K., Germany, Canada, and Australia later this month.
