Raiders game plan vs. Denver Broncos

It's a chance at redemption for the Oakland Raiders (2-1) as they travel to the unfriendly confines of Sports Authority Field at Mile High to take on the Denver Broncos (2-1) who were nearly as bad as Oakland last week.

4 of the Oakland Raiders stands on the field during player warm ups before a game against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on October 1, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. It will take a great defensive showing from Khalil Mack and company, as well as a soundly executed game from a Manuel-led offense. Finishing out games continues to plague the Broncos, so look for the team to work on this before it costs the team too many victories. Watson has been plagued with injury issues and was rarely a bright spot on the line. He had two sacks on the day - that total is good for a tie atop the team. Manuel actually responded quite well on the next drive, marching the Raiders downfield before drops by Cooper and Jared Cook (in the end zone) spoiled a pair of pinpoint throws. The team's No. 1 receiving option hasn't played like one recently, with a series of lackluster performances. By the looks of people's reactions on Twitter, if you want one you better act fast. Tavecchio is now six-for-six on the season in field goals and nine-for-nine on extra points.

Denver rebounds at home while the Raiders fall further into a funk.

This one is easy. While they still have a few problems, there is a lot of progress that has been made from the previous season on this side of the ball.

NFL free agent Colin Kaepernick first began sitting during the national anthem last season to protest racial injustice but soon switched to kneeling. King tried to sweep around right end but was met by the Broncos contain-man, wide receiver Jordan Taylor, who tackled him for a 3-yard loss at the Oakland 30. Interior linemen Kelechi Osemele, Rodney Hudson, and Gabe Jackson are monsters.

The Raiders secondary is a bit banged up and is looking to get healthy, but the front seven has held their own. Denver quarterback Trevor Siemian in last weeks road loss to the Bills failed to throw a touchdown, but did manage to throw two interceptions. We'll get him back.

Lynch was also spotted by ESPN's Adam Schefter going to the locker room before the game wearing a black T-shirt that read "Everybody vs. Trump". Carr was too content in the pocket a year ago because of how well the offensive line played. Oakland can win both of the games against the Ravens and Chargers when Carr is definitely out.

Derek Carr's back injury has been confirmed as a transverse fracture, after all.

The Broncos have one of the best pass rushers in the game in Von Miller. Carr is protected by an incredible offensive line and he has plenty of weapons around him to put together another great year in 2017.
