Dallas Cowboys: Temperature check on Jason Garrett's seat

Davis was 30 of 42 for 327 yards, three touchdowns and two picks, one that was returned for a touchdown by Cowboys linebacker Bruce Carter that gave Dallas the lead and the win with just six minutes to go in the game. The Rams (3-1) rallied from 11 points down late in the first half.

Dallas was able to bounce back from their terrible Week 2 performance, as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals 28-17 on the road in a Monday night game. Many wondered how the Rams would look during their first year in McVay's system since a lot of football fans believe he's too young to be a head coach, but based off their surprising 3-1 start, nobody seems to be questioning what he's capable of anymore.

As impressive as the LA offense has been, their defense has been equally as concerning. The Cowboys were 6-0 in games where they scored 30 or more points last season. CB Orlando Scandrick has three sacks and three forced fumbles in past eight home games. With better competition on the horizon, DC Wade Phillips must find a way to improve the performance this talent-laced unit. He has the league's third-best rating while Prescott languishes in the middle of the pack (88.9) a year after setting an NFL rookie record at 104.9.

"Obviously that was a big play in the game to be able to convert that two-point play and then to have it be called back", Garrett said, via the Dallas Morning News' Jon Machota.

Stat of the Game (Arizona): The Cardinals won despite allowing six sacks and 16 quarterback hits on Palmer. It's pretty clear that they are not going to run over their competition that way they did for much of the 2016 season.

Goff showed more poise in first-year coach Sean McVay's offense, throwing for 255 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Gurley has 241 yards rushing to 192 for Elliott.

A bad half of football without Sean Lee does not almost define the 2017 Dallas Cowboys or this defense, and it would be foolish for Cowboys Nation to say that flaws on this side of the ball were not expected at this point in the season - if not the entirety of it. Watkins has the speed to get behind Dallas' secondary, and a few deep connections could open up opportunities underneath for Kupp and Woods as well as draw plays with Gurley on the ground. And if you can't watch, you can certainly listen on Sirius XM Radio.

The Cowboys are almost a touchdown favorite against the Rams. "We'll have to look at the tape". It is imperative that the defensive line can get to Goff and keep him from finding a groove. Dallas gained a lot of yards and scored a lot of points, but LA was better, and that's why our grades are high marks all around following the Rams' big win.

Goff dominated it in Chicago in April 2016, when the Rams selected the Novato native and Marin Catholic alum with the No. 1 overall pick of the National Football League draft, and Prescott got picked three rounds later. Zuerlein's sixth field gave the Rams 19 straight points and a 32-24 lead. It didn't take McVay long on Sunday to start thinking about getting win No. 4 this season.

If they can come into Dallas and leave with a victory, it could solidify their legitimacy.

Ezekiel Elliott pretended to wipe his face with a towel following his signature "feed me" gesture to celebrate his first touchdown. Los Angeles had 131 yards of total offense and 10 first downs through two quarters, but picked up 281 yards and 14 first downs after the half to come away with the win. In just three games, the Rams have crossed the 40-point threshold as many times as they did during the entirety of the Jeff Fisher era.
