This is the season for the Chargers. They are 0-3 on the season, and they have lost their last eight games dating back to last season. That's not going to happen in the AFC West this year.
Lynn specifically cited a meeting planned for this week with himself and officials from the Los Angeles Police Department to discuss ways to improve the department's relationship with residents "in different communities". The Chargers have also lost a ton of games in the final moments, many of those in spectacularly hilarious fashion. Basically, they'll be Screech. Fans can see the Eagles-Chargers game on FOX with kickoff set for 4:05 p.m.
The good news for the Eagles is that they just faced a good pair of defensive ends on Sunday. All three are crucial towards the success of the Eagles secondary. That doesn't exactly square with what went down a week ago, as Philip Rivers threw several ill-advised passes, leading to three interceptions in the loss to the Chiefs. "You're playing the Chiefs, we can write out that whole defensive front by name and all the DBs before you even turn on the tape", Rivers said.
After two weeks struggling on the ground, including a Week 2 game against the Chiefs that saw ZERO carries for LeGarrette Blount, the Eagles rushing attack broke out against the Giants last week. The Eagles are the only team Rivers has yet to throw an interception against. Rivers is 2-0 against the Eagles and considerably more explosive than Manning. Whoever is in there on the back end for the Iggles will have to make a play.
Rivers and Koo get some redemption with a big game and winning kick, respectively. Rivers has to cut down on the turnovers and the offensive line needs to give him enough time to find his receivers. The Chargers knew returning to Los Angeles would mean proving themselves and whatever the reason, they have yet to do so. Peters hasn't allowed a sack yet this season and is one of the best left tackles in the league.
With a now 0-3 record, a partly-filled stadium that only seats 27,000 people, and a money-grubber of an owner, failure seems imminent for this Los Angeles team.
CHARGERS DEFENSE: Overall (13), rush (31), pass (5). "But we got to win one first".
Pederson has his fingers crossed that Cox's injury won't linger.
You can catch Sunday afternoon's game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Chargers from the StubHub Center on television, radio and online, and we've got the information on how you can do so. As a result, the Birds will have to go with Beau Allen in the matchup.
These two rookie kickers have been intimately involved in their team's fortunes to this point. "And I think with our ends and getting pressure there it can help take a little pressure off you". "This is a team that missed field goals or they could be in exactly the same spot we are".
