Twitter reacts to the new iPhone X and Face ID

All three of Apple's new iPhones have both wireless charging and fast charging, which is huge.

You can buck the new technology trend and stick with your current device. But that's not why we're here.

Apple was eager to talk about the iPhone X's wireless charging, less so about its quick charge feature. This was the biggest news besides the iPhone X's incredible features like edge to edge display, revamped design, AR integration, improvements to the camera, chipset and more. It was released just as the phablet - part phone, part tablet - had its breakthrough moment and, all of a sudden, users wanted smartphones with extra-large screens. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. Along with its enhanced performance, the A11 Bionic also offers better power efficiency, which equates to an additional two hours of battery life when compared to the iPhone 7. The also had memory space boosted in a nod to modern day demand for storing rich data like video.

A premium model, the iPhone X features a high-resolution display that covers nearly the entire front of the smartphone, a trend for many of this year's flagship handsets, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note8 and LG V30.

Add to this, the huge price point of the iPhone X, with which Apple is clearly targeting the iPhone loyalists. It should be noted that there is not much of a difference in the devices other than a few updates here and there, which could not have cost Apple that much.

Priced at up to £1,149, it is the most expensive iPhone yet.

Customers can pre-order online from October 27 and the device will be on sale from November 3 in 57 countries, including the UK. The iPhone 8 Plus continues to feature a rear dual-camera system, while the iPhone 8 has a single rear camera. The new iPhones are have glass covers on the front and back. It lacks the 3.5mm input for standard headphones but again comes with an adapter.
