We deserve our first points of the season - Bilic

After four rounds of matches, reality is beginning to bite in this Premier League season.

The West Ham boss is the clear even-money favourite in the Sack Race following his side's poor start to the campaign and Frank de Boer's swift Crystal Palace exit.

Collins reckons fans will see a different West Ham now the weight has finally been lifted from their shoulders.

"But football is an offensive game as well and we were not good enough, not fearless enough".

"We had not deserved to win any games so we were where we deserved to be".

Andy Carroll won 13 aerial duels in the game, the most of any player in a Premier League game this season.

Having dominated the first half, the hosts went ahead at London Stadium through Pedro Obiang's deflected strike with 18 minutes remaining before substitute Ayew made the game safe with a typically opportunistic close-range finish. We kept calm and changed the shape a little and said we were going to get back to basics. And they indeed were able to get it.

There are many players that deserve a mention, but perhaps chief among them being Danish goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, former Germany U21 worldwide defender Christopher Schindler, and current Australia global midfielder Aaron Mooy.

"We have to be more courageous and more comfortable on the ball". The occasion should not influence your performance.

"I told them we have suffered for two weeks after the Newcastle defeat and they showed determination in training".

It is thought that Bilic's tenure at West Ham was on the line after the team lost their opening three league ties and conceded ten goals along the way. Missing Marko Arnautovic, he allows Javier Hernandez and Michail Antonio to play off him and use the space he creates.
