Apple expected to unveil newest iPhone on Tuesday

It's thought the phone will retail for $US1000 ($A1246).

Apple is expected to launch a slew of devices other than the iPhone.

There's strong indications that three phones will be released - the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Some estimates have put the starting cost of the iPhone X at $999. With display resolution of 1125 x 2436 pixels, the iPhone X screen is going to be the sharpest screen ever put in an iPhone.

There are some drawbacks to OLED displays, though, but Apple is seemingly doing all it can to minimize them.

So, it's been nearly confirmed now! Its smartphone will come featuring a dual rear camera setup, glass body, A11 fusion chipset and so much more. Then there will be 256GB variant and finally the 512GB variant. The iPhone X could carry a price tag of more than $1,000, while the 8th generation versions will be similar to that of the iPhone 7, JPMorgan analyst Rod Hall said in a note to clients on Monday. The 2018 iPhone launch event will be the company's biggest smartphone launch ever which will be held on September 12. The iPhone X will be the first iPhone with a six-core processor. As per the report, the new TV box from Apple would be called as Apple TV 4K. In June, news site Outline reported that former employees at the National Security Agency had been employed by the company in order to keep leakers at bay.
