The battery power has been reduced from the combustible component of the Note 7, but it claims this has not sacrificed usage time.
There are deals on the, believe it or not, but expect to pay full price for the phone while getting pre-order bonuses in the United States instead. Two 12-megapixel lenses allow users to take both wide-angel and telephoto shots. You can either decide for a closeup or keep everything in the frame after taking the photo. The regular/wide-angle lens has an aperture of f/1.6, and the telephoto lens is f/2.4. Expect impressive camera performance just like the Galaxy S8 with enhancements thanks to the secondary lens.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 with TouchWiz UI on top. In one of its unique specifications, the phone comes with a 6.3-inch "Infinity" display with minimum bezels on the sides. You get impressive pixel density of 521 ppi.
As for the hardware, you get the same configuration. The phone has been launched in three variants - 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage.
Excited about the stylus S-Pen?
Samsung said its S Pen is capable of discerning 4,096 levels of pressure, making it feel and act like an actual pen. "We have been closely working with Samsung to make meaningful advancements in the science of smartphone quality and safety evaluation". Connectivity options on both smartphones include USB Type-C for charging and data transfer, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. Possibly, the Korean maker chose to play safe after the last year's battery debacle. However, with the Galaxy Note 8, the company has dove deep into the waters and created a dual camera setup that looks more intriguing than anything from Apple or OnePlus. Is Samsung playing safe? The flagship phablet comes with a 3,300mAh non-removable cell. Will it hold up?
It would be appropriate to wait for the event to commence and see how things unfold. However, Galaxy Note 8 adds the ability to pin screen off memos to the Always On Display and then edit them on the Always On Display.
