LA Lakers Pick Lonzo Ball In Draft Pick

Lonzo Ball (UCLA) is introduced by NBA commissioner Adam Silver as the number two overall pick to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft at Barclays Center. He has the talent to be an All-Star. I thought it was a typo or a fake account; there was no real reason to trade Russell, let alone for the package we got back for him. And somebody that can make their teammates better, somebody who has incredible basketball IQ - his IQ is off the charts - and somebody who can get their teammates to follow them and want to get out on that wing like James Worthy and Byron Scott and Michael Cooper used to do back in the day.

Kyle Kuzma became the third straight University of Utah players taken in the first round of the NBA Draft when he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 27th overall pick. One or two of those players need to turn into rotation players, alleviating the need to fill out the roster through more expensive means.

It's nearly as if there is really no time to pause and reflect anymore; we just fly from one thing to another or one season to another. After all, Corey Graves has made multiple references to Ball on commentary over the past couple of months, and O'Neil and Crews did joke about selling shoes that are more expensive than Ball's as part of the "Titus Brand".

"DeAngelo is an excellent player, " Johnson said during the press conference. For now, though, the Lakers will bank on Ball helping revive a franchise that last made the playoffs in 2013. We want to win championships here. "And all I can say is, we walked away from that time really impressed with the family".

Ironically, Rob Pelinka traded Russell to preserve the future of the Lakers. Regardless of what scenario you preferred to get George, the fact that he could play with the core of D'Angelo Russell, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle was a realistic possibility.

"I'm going to tell you what: Lonzo Ball is going to take the Lakers to the playoffs his first year", LaVar told ESPN. It's exciting times for the LA Lakers.

LaVar Ball has been making big claims about his sons' abilities since the day they were born.

Will Russell, only 21 years old, blossom in Brooklyn and make the Lakers regret giving up on him?

The born-Californian was as eager as anyone to stay home, declining to workout with any other team besides the Lakers during the pre-draft period.

"Watching so much tape of him", Johnson said, "you see yourself". Pro Wrestling Sheet suggested in their report that the WWE could make use of Ball to interact with Titus O'Neil, who is now promoting his Titus Brand on the show.
