The USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships serve as a qualifying meet for the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London, Aug. 4-13.

Olin (Mott, N.D.) earned second-team NCAA All-America honor earlier this month with a 12th-place finish in the javelin at the NCAA Championships. All events will be live-streamed on USATF.TV; while all the events held on Friday-Sunday will be televised on NBC Sports Network & NBC. Zach Buchheit competed in the 5,000-meter run. This Utah State quartet recently concluded their freshman campaigns. Her mark in the shot put ranks 10th all-time in school history.

Larkin tallied her qualifying times of 4:32.60 in the 1,500 and 9:53.81 in the 3,000, both of which are personal bests, at the UCLA-hosted Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational and UCI Spring Collegiate Classic, respectively. That was the third best time of the semis.

Sean Clarke, Maddie Villalba, Mikayla Schneider, Nia Akins, and Tia Livingston will all represent the Red and Blue at the USATF Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships, while Chris Hatler and 2016 graduate Sam Mattis will compete in the USATF Outdoor Championships.
