The apparent effectiveness of such attacks alarmed some fellow Democrats, and they show no signs of letting up. That a win in Georgia was going to be a huge referendum on what they perceive as unhappiness with the GOP party and our president blanketing the American landscape.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich also spoke of the potent tool Pelosi is for Republicans to use against Congressional Democrats.
"This is not about me", Rice said.
But Pelosi didn't sound like she was going anywhere on Thursday.
Moulton is one of the House Democrats who has been most vocal in calling for a new generation of leadership.
