Ironically, Fultz heading to the 76ers was completely expected, as was No. 2 pick Lonzo Ball who was taken by the L.A. Lakers. But that was only the beginning. In fact, Duke sophomore Luke Kennard was the first player with two or more years of college basketball experience to be chosen.

The Celtics could have left draft night with Fultz or put together a package for Butler, but instead walked away with Tatum and a ton of future draft picks they'll have trouble finding room for on the roster.
"Really, you just do whatever you need to do to win", Fultz said.
