Snapchat introduces creepy new Snap Map feature

Snap Map also collects data of "mass snapping" events, plotting different color shades based on density, like some sort of disease outbreak map.

Wish you could be right there with them?

"We've built a whole new way to explore the world!"

Another cool aspect of the new feature is that you can see where your friends are.

Snapchat also think that Snap Map could work like Twitter in a way that it would show breaking news on the app before it hits the mainstream media. (SNAP) over recent time; they noted that 8.65 million shares changed at hands contradiction to its average trading volume of 21.31 million.

Snap Inc. purchased Zenly, a French startup that makes a social map so people can see where their friends are hanging out, for $200 million in cash plus additional stock awards, according to a person familiar with the matter. Tapping on their BitMoji will open their story and allow you to message them directly to say hi or make plans. But, it's the people you don't actually know who you are sharing your location with without realizing it that has some people anxious. It can give you the area, town, and street and if you zoom in enough, it shows the house on the street layout.

"They do have heat maps so you can see where the hot spots are". Once you have access to the feature, Snapchat will ask if you want to share your location with all of your friends, a few friends or go completely off the map with Ghost Mode.

In the same way you'd add something to your Story on Snapchat, just select "Our Story" instead (or as well as) "My Story".

To begin, in order to even start using Snap Map, you personally have to turn it on. Zenly offers up both iOS and Android version of its social location sharing app. If you post a snap to the Our Story feature, your snap might be featured on the map for 24 hours.
