Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang valued at more than £63m: Chelsea and Liverpool interested

The striker was expected to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with odds dropping as low as 1/7 to complete the switch with various bookmakers, before the Ligue 1 runners-up pulled out of the deal. If there are no offers by July 26, then the club will force the Gabon striker to remain at Signal Iduna Park until his contracts ends in 2020.

The Gabon worldwide has been linked with a big money departure from the Signal Iduna Park this summer.

The Bundesliga club's chief executive officer Hans-Joachim Watzke has stated they will ignore any offers under that price and would only listen to any offer which shows "its appreciation" for the striker in "a financial way".

"If an official bid were to reach more than £63m, it would have to be reported as a necessary to proceed".

Aubameyang made 46 appearances for BVB last season, scoring 40 goals and assisting five further strikes in all competitions.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp worked with Aubameyang during his time in charge of Dortmund but the pair apparently didn't see eye-to-eye.

Surprisingly, Dortmund have set an asking price of just €70 million (£61.6m) for the forward - a reasonable price on today's market for a player who has scored 120 goals in his four seasons in German football. Auba has claimed before that he'd only want to play for Real Madrid, but they are probably looking at other targets.

Tottenham are sorted with Harry Kane in that position and Arsenal are pursuing Alexandre Lacazette and/or Kylian Mbappe, which leaves Chelsea as a potential English destination if Diego Costa leaves and they are priced out of a move for Romelu Lukaku.
