Manchester United is a 'tempting invitation' for Monaco star Fabinho

Arsenal and Manchester City have also been linked with the Brazil global but it seems that the Red Devils have won the race to sign him.

Monaco's Brazilian defender Fabinho celebrates after scoring during the French L1 football match between Rennes (SRFC) and Monaco (ASM) on May, 20 2017, at the Roazhon Park stadium in Rennes, western France.

If we lose out on Fabinho it will be a massive blow as far as I'm concerned because regardless of who we sign instead, Fabinho's performances at AS Monaco in their route to the UEFA Champions League semi-final and Ligue 1 title show how good he could be at United. His form for Monaco has not gone unnoticed and has seen him attract interest from the Serie A as Inter Milan and Juventus have also registered their interest in the versatile player. Jose Mourinho's side is expected to pay a transfer fee of around €35m (£30.7m, $39m) and €5m (£4.4m, $5.5m) in bonuses.

The 23-year-old Brazilian midfielder has been on Manchester United's radar this summer and the club have been linked with a move for him over the last few months.

Bernardo Silva has already completed his switch to United's rivals Manchester City.

"Fabinho will be a Manchester United player soon, I don't believe in the rumors that tell different things". He scored 10 goals and registered four assists in 48 matches played across all competitions for Monaco last season.
