Obsidian is now busy developing Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire which features sea transportation, a new setting and lots more for hardcore fans.
Obsidian Entertainment's critically acclaimed computer RPG Pillars of Eternity will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 later this year with Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition.
Pillars of Eternity originally funded via a very successful Kickstarter back in 2012 before launching on the PC in 2015. A physical release of the game will also be distributed by 505 Games. In a statement from Paradox Interactive, the team expressed how proud they are of the game and how excited they are to announce that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners can now experience it.
Cities: Skylines, the management game that set sales records at Paradox at launch, will soon be available for the PS4 as Cities: Skylines - PlayStation 4 Edition.
Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition includes the full game in addition to the expansions "The White March - Parts I & II". They also announced that Cities: Skylines which launched on the Xbox One earlier on in the year, would be making the journey to Sony's console.
Apparently, Pillars of Eternity has been redesigned with a new, big-screen compatible UI and gamepad-friendly controls, but the idea that it will actually work, and work well enough?
