French point guard Frank Ntilikina, after arriving at Liberty International Airport in Newark on Tuesday for Thursday's National Basketball Association draft, denied a report his preference is to be drafted by the Mavericks over the Knicks. They also come with some question marks. Magic Johnson was the top pick in Cartwright's draft, and Bergen County resident Jim Spanarkel was the 16th choice, by the 76ers. Carmelo Anthony led the team in three-point attempts with 5.7 a game, connecting on 35.9% of his attempts.
Simply put, the best option is to build around him and cut the extracurricular nonsense that has dominated the NY tabloids. "So if he starts making the National Basketball Association three-point shot consistently, it's going to be really hard to guard him". We all know about his coming out party against North Carolina when he went off for 47 points.
We'd like to hear who you want on your team. NY will be hosting a prospect, Donovan Mitchell, who's being considered at No. 8 overall in the 2017 NBA Draft.
The Louisville guard took a big leap in his sophomore season to become an all-Atlantic Coast Conference performer. Some of the looks the 6-foot-4 guard wore include the LeBron 14 ($174.99 via Foot Locker), the LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 ($139.99) and the Air Jordan 12 ($189.99).
While there are no guarantees that the Pelicans are searching for the next Brogdon, or other four-year standouts, the ongoing tendencies of the draft make upperclassmen more available than ever.
Per Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago, the Bulls have put Butler on the trading block: "The Bulls routinely say they'll take phone calls from teams about Butler's availability around this time and at the trade deadline but this time around, multiple sources tell CSNChicago.com the Bulls are doing more than listening: they're shopping Butler to many teams".
STRENGTHS: The 6-6 wing upped his scoring average almost eight points per game to average 19.5 points. He can produce in both catch-and-shoot and screen scenarios. Monk is great at creating his own shot and is sneakily athletic.
The former McDonald's All-American and Arizona recruit passed on college to play professionally in Australia.
For fans interested in finding out picks as soon as possible, it will be fun to watch Woj and Stein duke it out for what could be the last time.
STRENGTHS: White has a knack for scoring and the potential to play either guard spot at the next level.
Well, if the Mavericks want a pass-first point guard then Rubio is the right person for the job. He also shot 51 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range at Colorado.
- JOSH HART: The Villanova senior was an Associated Press first-team all-American who averaged 18.7 points but doesn't boast elite athleticism. A seven-time All-Star and an all-NBA first-team selection four times, the smooth guard still owns the Knicks' all-time assists record.
The Nets hold the No. 57 pick in the second round, but they might buy an earlier second-round pick.
"I know it's a good system, a lot of rules in place", Ntilikina said of the triangle. He's a second-round prospect.
We'll go through your responses, and post your opinions right before the draft starts on Thursday, June 22.
Sleeper picks are probably the most exciting part of any given NBA Draft, or a draft of any sport for that matter.
