Shiv Sena is finally backing the BJP's choice for the presidential race. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray made this announcement after meeting senior party leaders in Mumbai this evening.

General Secretary of CPI D Raja is also in favour of fielding Opposition's candidate.

With an illustrious background in the legal arena, he said, Kovind's knowledge and understanding of the Constitution will benefit the nation.
