So, President Trump isn't under investigation after all?

FILE - In this June 8, 2017, file photo, Marc Kasowitz personal attorney of President Donald Trump makes a statement at the National Press Club, following the congressional testimony of former FBI Director James Comey in Washington.
"In that letter, there's recommendation for the removal of James Comey". Now, it seems, it is indeed changing.
"I just gave you the legal theory, Chris, of how the Constitution works", Sekulow said.
Here's what you need to know. "Ah-hah!" they squealed, Trump has confirmed that he is under investigation.
Sources say that President Donald Trump will "fight" the investigation into his campaign's possible collusion with Russian intelligence. The Post cited multiple unnamed sources familiar with those interview requests.
Donald Trump could face an immediate impeachment process if he were to fire special counsel Robert Mueller, Democrats have warned as rumors intensify that Trump wants to bring an end to the Russian Federation investigation. "Nevermind Trump-Comey tapes - are there, could there be, legally can there be FBI Comey tapes?"
Whether or not Mueller finds these reports to be valid will be hugely relevant to any finding of obstruction.
But White House officials worry that Trump may fire Rosenstein and Mueller, a move that aides are actively against as it could be unconstitutional.
Comey also told the Senate that he intentionally leaked his contemporaneous memos detailing his conversations with Trump in order to prompt the appointment of a special counsel. "The legal team has not been notified", he said on CNN.
Though several Trump associates have hired more conventional attorneys from the elite ranks of Washington-region litigators - son-in-law Jared Kushner has turned to Jamie Gorelick, a former deputy attorney general in the Clinton administration, and Vice President Mike Pence has retained veteran Richmond, Virginia, defense lawyer Richard Cullen - the Trump defense team has a decidedly different pedigree.
Sekulow is so certain that Trump is under investigation that even when he's trying to do damage control over two Freudian slips that confirm Trump is under investigation, Sekulow releases another Freudian slip, beginning to reference the inves...never mind... "Let me be crystal clear so you completely understand: We have not received nor are we aware of any investigation of the president of the United States".
"There's a limitation on Twitter, as we all know", Sekulow said.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is scheduled to meet with top members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.
Sekulow also defended Trump's use of social media, saying he does not tell him what to write or not write, after the president last week tweeted that he was under investigation for firing Comey.
Trump refers to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the man leading the federal investigation. The lessons of history suggest such traumas raise questions of political legitimacy and constitutional process that have the potential to sour life in Washington for years in the future.
A spokesperson for Kasowitz did not return request for comment about Sekulow's interview.
"I don't believe it's going to happen", said Rubio on CNN's "State of the Union".
