Says state is developing under govt led by Yogi Adityanath

Modi also lauded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) saying that "the world took notice when India launched 104 satellites". He also called upon the scientist fraternity to strive to bring change in the quality of life of the common man and pointed out how the 800 million youth work force of India was making the country proud with their contributions world over. "We have detained 22 persons apprehending that they might breach security during today's VVIP visit", Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Deepak Kumar said. The PM also dedicated a 400 KV DC transmission line between Lucknow and Kanpur.

Modi is also president of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and this will be his first visit to any of its labs in the country. "We have to defeat diseases with science", he said, . "I had the opportunity to spend time at CSIR-CDRI and see the good work that our scientists are doing", he said.

"The entire country is was keenly following what was happening in Uttar Pradesh and I am happy to note that under Yogi and his team, the state is headed for development like never before", Modi said at an event at the Dr A.P.J.

Yogi said that evaluation and rejuvenation centers will be established in four technical universities of state which will promote students for their better future and will counter the problem of unemployment.

He distributed sanction letters to beneficiaries of the PM Awas Yojana.
