Modern Warfare Remastered Standalone Game Case Revealed with Possible Release Date

It appears that a standalone version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be released on June 27th.

The news comes by way of the folks at Charlie Intel who received some pretty convincing images of a PS4 box for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Nevertheless, there's a photo of the box and a $39.99 price which, frankly, is a bit steep considering it's a remaster of an old game that many have been playing since last November. The Xbox One version is likely to launch a month later.

Images of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered standalone have leaked online. Right now, there are conflicting release dates, with some claiming that Activision will shadow drop the standalone later today, while others claim the game will launch on the 27th of June.

Activision is yet to announce anything, but if it really is launching next week, then an announcement must be imminent.

Multiple retailers including Gamefly, Amazon Japan, and a few German retailers have posted dates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, with the common date being tomorrow, June 20th.

Some fans were more interested in Modern Warfare Remastered than Infinite Warfare.

There's even talk of a Nintendo Switch port, which would be handled by Beenox.
