Here's Super Mario Odyssey In Co-Op

After teasing it earlier this week, Nintendo has now confirmed that Super Mario Odyssey will have co-op where the second player controls Cappy.

The co-op mode was demoed today during Nintendo's E3 Treehouse Live stream, giving folks who couldn't make it to the expo a chance to see Mario and Cappy in action for themselves.

The demo runs for half an hour, most of which is played in single-player, so give it a look for even more insight into the next big Mario game.

Mario also has to control his camera. In Holiday 2017, a highly anticipated Super Mario Odyssey becomes the high profile system-selling exclusive, featuring a special hat that allows Mario to poltergeist his way into controlling other characters, enemies, and objects. Also, Cappy is unreceptive to damages, making it apt for less experienced players, notes The Verge.

A demonstration of the co-op mode for Super Mario Odyssey was done at the E3 2017 today. Players will simply have to press Y on the Joy-Con controller to fly around and move independently from Mario. With the creatures that Mario captures with his hat, he will be able to imitate their abilities.

This type of two-player mode also seems like a way to protect Mario from incoming enemies. It reminds me a little of games where one player has all the fun and the second player does all the shit jobs.

Without further ado, a tip of the cap as we present the four ways Super Mario Odyssey is extremely reminiscent of Super Mario Sunshine. In addition to playing the game, I found out a ton of details about it.

"Super Mario Odyssey" will be released on October 27 of this year.

In co-op mode, player two will take control of Mario hat in Super Mario Odyssey.
